Elks work with Semper Fi
February 2025
The Huntsville Elks Lodge #1648 partnered with the
Semper Fi Community Task Force to provide non-perishable food to local Veterans in need.

Elks volunteers worked on Thursday evening (2/13/2025) to help local Veterans. Elks Grants provided almost $3,000 for the Huntsville Elks Lodge #1648 to provide non-perishable food to Veterans. Volunteers purchased food and organized an assembly line to pack 50 bags. At this point, “Packing Parties” are an Elks Tradition due to the number of times Elks have provided food/items for local Veterans, children, and mothers in need. These bags of food were delivered to Semper Fi Community Task Force on Saturday (2/15/2025) and they will distribute to local Veterans in need.
If you are a Veteran, or know of a Veteran that would benefit from having a bag of great food – please ask them to fill out the Semper Fi Contact Form as soon as possible by clicking HERE.
